- From the Wichita Falls, Texas "Times Record News" Sept. 30, 2014:
"Deborah Lowell
Deborah Kay Lowell, 58, lifetime resident of Wichita Falls, beloved wife, mother and sister, walked through Heaven's gate Monday, September 29 after fighting a brave and courageous battle with cancer, never giving up, never complaining, always concerned for others right up to the time the Lord took her home. In a beautiful, peaceful moment that will live forever in the minds and hearts of those who held the hand of this beautiful girl as she said goodbye, God called our angel home.
Debbie cherished time spent with her expansive, close-knit family, spreading warmth, cheer and laughter wherever she went, never met a stranger, loved cookouts, quiet times spent with her beloved Chihuahua, 'Little Bit', campouts and holiday get-togethers, times of joy and friendship that she especially looked forward to. But her shining light was her deep, unwavering faith in the Word of God. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Wynell Bales of Wichita Falls. She is survived by her husband, Cam Lowell, daughter, Lacy Aguilar, husband Luis and grandson Noah, her husband's children Cara Pebley, Paul Lowell and grandsons Chandler, Trey and Dalton Lowell of Conway, Arkansas, whom she loved dearly; sisters Ellouise Entrekin and husband Jimmy of Cartwright, OK, Teresa Savage and husband Ken of Willis Point, TX, Rita Robertson and husband Lindal of Wichita Falls, Linda Heine and husband Kenneth of Duncanville, TX and brother Johnny Bales and wife Rita of Iowa Park. Debbie was blessed with numerous and beloved nieces, nephews and other members of her large, extended family. She is survived by her best friend, soul mate and constant companion through good times and bad, Bonnie Cannon.
Visitation will be from 7:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 1, at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM, at Heritage Assembly of God in Wichita Falls, with Pastor Ron Barnard officiating. Graveside services will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made to United Regional Hospital and Hospice of Wichita Falls, whose dedicated and caring professionals offered invaluable treatment and comfort to Debbie and her family during this time of need.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lunnscolonial.com."
