  Notes	Obituary: Pasadena Star News: Friday, Nov. 2, 1934: “Lydia Perkins Lodge passed away suddenly November 1, 1934, at her home on Garvey Boulevard, Monterey Park. She was born in South Pasadena and attended the South Pasadena High School, being a graduate of U.C. L.A. After graduating she taught school until she was married. She is survived by her husband, Roy William Lodge; two sons, David and Roy; her mother, Mrs. L. Starr Perkins of South Pasadena; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Roney of Alhambra, Mrs. Eleanor Clay and Mrs. Louisa Penwarden of Pasadena, Mrs. Anna Dowlin of Boise, Idaho; three brothers, Raymond and Wentworth Perkins of Boise, Idaho, and Lowell Perkins of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5, at 1:30 p.m. in St. James Episcopal Church, South Pasadena. Reynolds & Salisbury Company, 166 North Marengo avenue, directors.”
