Second St., a homemaker, died Sunday, July 10, 1994, in the Good Samaritan Center. Joyce Dodd was born Nov. 7, 1903, in Alcester. She moved with her family to Lane in 1910. She attended school there and graduated from Lane High School in 1923. She married Alexander N. Feay on Oct. 22, 1925, in Lane. He died Oct. 5, 1993. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1925, where she was employed for several years at West Soo Grocery. She was a homemaker. She became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center on Oct. 19, 1990. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church; Royal Neighbors of America; and Evelyn Rebecca Lodge No. 7. Survivors include one son, Larry of Sioux Falls; one daughter, Joyce Jensen of Beresford; six grandchildren; 10 great.grandchildren; and one sister, Wilma Acker of Sioux Falls. Services will begin at 2 p.m., Wednesday in George Boom Funeral Home, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today in the funeral home, with the family being present from 7 to 8 p.m. Prayer service will begin at 7:30 tonight in the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Good Samaritan Center.”
