Heirlooms. Lowell, Viola Furbush. Quilt.
Quilt presented to Wealthy Viola (Furbush) Lowell by her friends in 1884, when she, her husband John Fairfield Lowell, and their two children, Minnie and John Russell, left Mukwa Township (Waupaca Co.), Wisconsin to settle in Dakota Territory. There are 30 names on the quilt. Quilt was presented to the Wisconsin Historical Society in 2011. The museum's official description reads: "Quilt, pieced, signature, red and white cotton, "Courthouse Square," 1884."
