- Gudrun Nelson called this individual “Lina Helgesen” and that she married a man whose last name was Pedersen and had two sons, Walter and Orvin, and lived in Brooklyn. Spelling of name is from “Baptisms in Bergen” on web site.

Emigrant records show that on Sept. 26 1895, Lina Pedersen, nee Helgesen, married, a mechanical worker’s wife, born in 1860, 35 years old, born in Bergen, living in America, returned to America on the Scandia Line.

In response to your E-Mail of December 17, 2002, the above numbered grave (Lot 27211, Grave 15, Section 206) was purchased May 5, 1891 for the burial of Jno. A. Peterson. Also interred in the grave are the remains of Henry L. Peterson March 9, 1894, Bernhard Olsen February 19, 1895, Lilly Petterson April 15, 1895, Olaf Pedersen September 24, 1900, Olaf A. Pedersen April 4, 1934, Lina Pedersen February 26, 1945 and Walter L. Pedersen June 15, 1956. As you can see, the spellings on Pedersen are somewhat different from other spellings on our records. The above interments are all the burials in the above-numbered grave. The above grave is in a single grave area, and normally its capacity is for three burials. However, in this instance, three of the above interments we have mentioned, Olaf Pedersen September 24, 1900 was an infant, and the others Henry L. Peterson March 9, 1894 and Lily Petterson April 15, 1895 were both a year old. As of the last interment of Walter L. Pedersen June 15, 1956 the capacity of said grave is Full.
