PRINCE RUPERT—Of interest to Vancouver friends is the marriage of Elizabeth Frances, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olafur Olafson, to Brian Kent Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin [sic] Hanson of Vancouver.
Rev. A. S. Olson officiated at the candlelight ceremony in St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
The bride was attended by Mrs. Philip Laporte, Miss Herdis Holestad, Miss Alice Kristmanson and Miss Betty Johnson.
Dr. Cecil Compton was best man for his brother-in-law with Philip Laporte as groomsman and ushers were H. Olafson and Carl K. Olafson.
Silver Oddsson was master of ceremonies at the reception where George Philippson proposed the bridal toast.
The newlyweds left later on a honeymoon trip to Vancouver and United States points."

"HANSON - On May 18, 1989, Brian Kent Hanson, aged 63 years, of Prince Rupert, B.C. Survived by his loving wife, Frances; 2 sons, Chris and Christy, David and Barb; 1 daughter, Debbie; 1 brother, Stanley; and 1 sister, Agnes; also his mother, Connie; 1 granddaughter, Brittany. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 23, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the V.G.H. I.C.U. or Easter Seal House appreciated."
