  Notes	Obituary: Bangor Daily Whig and Courier (Bangor, Maine) 10 Mar 1896, Tue. "There died in this city, March 9, at the home of her niece, Mrs. G. B. Ilsley, 55 Ohio Street, Mrs. Louise P. Lowell, aged 75. Her remains will be taken on this morning's train to Farmington, her former residence, where funeral services will be holden. She was the widow of Hon. Simeon H. Lowell, who for many years was the Clerk of Courts of Franklin county. She leaves among bereaved relatives, an only son, Mr. Frank Lowell, of Phillips, also a brother residing there, and two sisters, one of whom came to be with her in her last moments, and the other living in Illinois. She will be deeply mourned also by many other relatives and friends who have ever esteemed her as one possessed of great loveliness of character."
