Obituary: Sioux Falls Argus-Leader: Thursday, April 7, 1977: Louis H. Dubbe: “Services for Louis H. Dubbe, 95, of 3601 S. Norton Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford. Mr. Dubbe died in a local nursing home Wednesday. He was born Dec. 20, 1881, in Wellington Township. He married Marie Carls June 7, 1911, in Hartford. He was a member of District No. 71 School Board for 30 years. They retired from farming in 1954, moving to Sioux Falls. Mrs. Dubbe died in 1967. Survivors include a son, Maynard, Hartford; a daughter, Mrs. Herman Kalb, Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; a brother, Art, Sioux Falls, and two sisters, Mrs. V. F. Stegner, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Amanda Sather, San Diego, Calif. (Miller).
