While the Lohengrin wedding march was being played, the bridal party took their places in the parlor where the ceremony was performed. Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the dining room where the decorations were flowers and ferns. Autumn leaves, ferns and flowers were used effectively in the parlor. The out-of-town guests were Ira Thompson of Grand Rapids and George Nelson of Gillett.
