Max Miller's father, Adolph Miller, was the original homesteader for this property. After Adolph Miller's death, his wife and children inherited his property. Max Miller then bought out the interest of his mother and siblings in this original homestead property and he lived on the property until 1914, when it was sold and no longer remained in the Miller family.
