Religion. McCartney, Minnie Lowell. Baptism Certificate.

Minnie's baptism into the Lutheran faith occurred on 3 May 1951, at Sioux Valley Hospital. Minnie died fourteen days later. It is not clear why Flora McCartney Luker, Minnie's daughter, arranged for a baptism for her mother, when her mother was 86. Was Minnie never formally baptized as a child? At the time of Minnie's marriage, did she change faiths, causing Flora to re-baptize her back to Minnie's original faith, when Minnie was on her deathbed in 1951.
