Correspondence. Lowell, Gerald. Postcard to Gudrun Nelson.
Sent while Gerald was on a month-long study trip to the Soviet Union in January 1968. Depicted on the front are fireworks over the Kremlin. Message: Hi Grandma! Am now in Moscow really enjoying myself but attempting not to get homesick for U.S.A. and home. Have seen so many things that it is impossible to comprehend them all. Have taken about 250 pictures so far. Hope they turn out. It's so gloomy here the sun never seems to shine. This is the Kremlin--the "White House" and capital of the Soviet Union. Till later, Love, Jerry
