Sally Lowell was Reuben Lowell's second wife. They married on 10 Nov 1807. Reuben Lowell died on 1 June 1824. On 9 May 1825, Sally purchases outright her late husband's home farm in Chesterville from all of the children and their descendants born to Reuben Lowell and his first wife, Priscilla.

[NOTE-- In the above listing, Hannah Lowell now lives with W. F. Lowell; most likely, W. F. Lowell and family now live on the family homestead with Hannah and her daughter, Hannah E., since W. F. Lowell became sole owner of his father's homestead after the death of his older brother Charles. Barzilla Lowell is the unmarried son of John Lowell [youngest brother of Joshua B. Lowell] and the uncle (by marriage) of Hannah Lowell.
At the time of the 1870 census, Hannah is listed with her son, William Lowell.
Death Notice: Portland Daily Press, Portland, ME. Vol. 10, P. 2, Thursday, November 30, 1871:
“In Chesterville, Nov. 23, Mrs. Hannah, widow of the late Samuel Lowell, Esq., aged 72 years 9 months and 10 days.”
