| Vik, Andrew (originally Anders Martin Berg Kolbeinsen) and wife Karen Margarethe Hanssen. The couple originally emigrated in 1904 to Dell Rapids, South Dakota. Their five children emigrated to South Dakota in 1905. Karen and her children relocated to Seattle, Washington in 1928. Prior to their move to Seattle, Karen and Andrew had separated; Andrew went to Alberta, Canada and farmed. Photo found by Susan Woster Burgoyne at her great grandparents home (Johan Smevik and Hilda Hanssen) during her visit to Bjørnskinn, Norway in Summer 2018. Hilda Hanssen was a sister to Kristine Hanssen Olsen, mother of Harold D. Nelson.
