      Joe O. Stangoohr:
      Joe O. Stangohr, 76, life-long resident of the Winfred community died July 5, at the Good Samaritan Center in Howard. He had been in ill health for sometime. He was born March 8, 1894, near Winfred, and spent his entire life farming in Miner County.
      Services were held July 8, at the Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard, with the Rev. Keith Johnson, Hartford, officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery, Howard. Pallbearers were, Roy Stangohr, Harold Moschell, Alan Moschell, William Moschell, Robert Schwader, and Donald Stangohr.
      Survivors besides the widow, include a daughter, Marcella, at home; four brothers, Fred, Fremont, Nebr.; Albert, Canova; Ernest, Howard; and Frank, Fulton, Mo.; six sisters, Mrs. Fred Welds, Salem; Mrs. James Schwader, Howard; Mrs. Frank Seuberling, Canova; Mrs. Ernest Peck, Madison; Mrs. Carl Petra, Wahoo, Neb., and Mrs. Frank Pamperin, Sioux Falls.”
