"Marriage licenses were issued to J. B. [sic] Lowell, aged 30, and Frida Valsch [sic], aged 23. Also to Fred Dahse, aged 30 and Annie Dajse [sic], aged 21. The young people are all from Wall Lake township, and there will be a double wedding at the Valsch [sic] home."
Was a witness at the marriage of Dora Volsch and Alexander Terrio on July 24, 1895.

Hartford Herald: Thursday, July 9, 1908:
“Death of Mrs. Fred Dahse
Saturday morning Mrs. Fred Dahse was taken very painfully ill. Dr. Van DeMark was called and found her afflicted with a severe case of appendicitis which would necessitate an immediate operation. She was taken to Sioux Falls on the evening train Saturday, where a consultation of physicians was held and it was decided to take her to Sioux City for the operation. She was taken to Sioux City by Dr. Van DeMark and her brother, Louie Voelsch, reaching there Sunday evening when she was operated upon. The operation was successful but the appendix was ruptured and peritonitis set in causing her death yesterday morning. Mr. Dahse lefft for Sioux City yesterday morning to accompany the remains back to Hartford.
Anna M. H. Voelsch ws born in Germany, November 13, 1880 and came to this country with her parents. On December 12, 1900, she was united in marriage to Fred J. Dahse. To this union have been born three children, Clarence, aged 7 years, Earnest, aged 5 years, and Fred, aged 1 year and 8 months. Mrs. Dahse’s sudden death is an inestimable loss to her husband and especially, the three little children who need a mother’s care and the heartfelt sympathy of the whole community goes out to the bereaved ones.
Funeral services will be held at the West Wall Lake German Lutheran church tomorrow afternoon. Rev. Brauehtisch will have charge of the services. Interment will take place in the cemetery by the church.”
