      Amy K. Lowell:
      Amy K. Lowell, 86, Cambridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1986.
      Amy Kathryn Lowell was born in Morrison, Illinois on Sept. 27, 1900, daughter of Patrick and Lilly Baker Donahue. She became the younger sister of Wallace Donahue who was age six at the time of her birth.
      The family moved to Pierre, S. Dak. when she was in her teens, residing there only for a short while before moving to Cedar, Minn.
      She was united in marriage to Ralph Clifford Lowell on Nov. 12, 1921 in Cedar. They were blessed with three children: Eleanor, Wallace and Lila. The Lowells engaged in dairy farming in the Cedar, Bethel, and Goose Lake areas before retiring near Ogilvie, Minn.
      Following her husband’s death in 1980, Amy and Lila moved to Cambridge, where they have resided at Ashland Place.
      On Oct. 15, 1986, Amy was admitted to Memorial Hospital where she underwent surgery on Oct. 17.
      Lowell is survived by her son, Wallace Lowell of Bloomington, Minn.; daughter, Lila Lowell of Cambridge, son-in-law, Delbert Erickson of Cambridge; brother and sister-in-law Wallace and Grace Donahue of Cedar; three grandsons and their wives, Dale and Sylvia Erickson, Darwin and Vicki Erickson, and Duane and Gail Erickson; one grandaughter and her husband, Diane and Frank Presseller; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Laura, Brian and Lisa Erickson; two nieces, Virginia and Ruth; two nephews, Jim Donahue and Bert Page; and many friends and extended family members.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; and her daughter, Eleanor Erickson.
      Funeral services for Amy K. Lowell were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in Carlson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ellsworth Moritz officiating. Dorothy Terpstra, accompanied by Kent Eggert, sang “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”.
      Pallbearers included Dale, Darwin and Duane Erickson, Frank Presseller, Jerry Sutton and Galen Sylvester. Interment services were held in Oak Leaf Cemetery in East Bethel.
      Funeral arrangements were handled by Carlson Funeral Home in Cambridge.”
