“TURNER
TURNER-- Mrs. Minnie J. Doe and Mrs. Olive J. Bradford held open house Sunday at the Brick House in Strickland to introduce to old friends the new occupants, Mr. and Mrs. Merton Stuart and son, Charles Henry of Turner, who will make their home there. This house was purchased nearly a century ago by the grandparents of the hostesses, Benjamin F. and Tabitha Millett Trask and more recently occupied by the late Charles Trask. The bricks of which the house was built were baked on the farm. Guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Winton, Gloria and Glendon Winton, Dana Knowlton, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bassett, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Richmond, all of Stricklands, Palmer Richmond, Mrs. Marshal Morse and three children, Olin Harmond of Liermore Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Barker, Mrs. George Foss, Mrs. George Pillsbury, Mrs. Alton Millett, Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Grant, Mrs. Wallace Fish, Mrs. E. H. Rose, and Mrs. Frank Knapp of Leeds.”
