“Will of John White of Haverhill made Jan. 1, 1668. To my father William White one acre of meadow at ye hether north meadow and two spots of meadow at ye farr north meadow a little beyond goodman Heathes, and 30 acrs of upland out of my 100 hundred acres beyond Daniell Bradlies to ye westward, for his life, then to return to my son Jn°. To my wife Hannah my now dwelling house and houselot, my ox common lot, lot in ye great plain, my East meadow, my 3 1/2 acres at ye farr north meadow, one acre at ye pond meadow, for her life, then to go to my son John. To my son John my land in Haverhill except as above. My horses, neat cattle, sheep, swine, brass, pewter, bedding, house hold stuff, implements of husbandry and working tooools to my wife Hannah, subject to my debts. I commit my son John to my wife during her widowhood to be educated and brought up in the fear of ye Lord. My wife Hannah, executrix, and father White overseer. Wit: John Ward and Nath Saltingstall. Proved by oath of Mr. John Ward taken by Simon Bradstreet 23: I: 1668, and of Mr. Nath Saltingstall in court at Salisbury 13 : 2 : 1669.
