  Notes	v.2, p. 335, lists name, spouse, children, and dates. p. 304: “Marta Nilsdtr married at age eighteen to a neighbor boy who was eleven years older, Mons Arntsen (par 1745). They immediately took over operations at the farm, and also experienced a good fishing boom that mostly lasted out the century. “Mons was the captain and had a separate building outside in Langenesværet.. There, he held the crew for the winter season. Many Sortlendinger died there or on trips to and from the fishing village, but Mons never struck out like that. “That the economic situation was good for the family is also evident beyond the tax rolls. Their second oldest son, Nils, married the daughter of the sheriff Nils Lockert from Liland and they moved there. Nils Lockert was also, the successor as sheriff in Sortland named Nils Lockert. His father was Nils Monssen from Ånstadsjøen, son-in-law to the first sheriff Lockert. “Mons died in 1783 and left a nice legacy for Marta and the children. But Marta had problems with who should take over the lease. The eldest son was unmarried, number two was married in Liland, and the two next in the row died two years before their father. Marta held on to the lease until her daughter Ingeborg started a family.«s52», «s52»
